About Daniela Rey

Daniela founded Growing Up Rooted in 2020 with it’s initial offering, a Nature School in her home garden where she teaches children about gardening, herbalism and land stewardship. In addition to teaching, Daniela formulates and produces small-batch plant medicine and herbal teas that she sells online and at her brick-and-mortar store in Wrightwood, CA. Her goal is to support others into a deeper relationship with nature and spirit.
Before running Growing Up Rooted, Daniela worked as a media creator for over 15 years. In this field she worked from graphic designer to creative director, creating content for clients like Disney, Paramount Studios, PBS, and The State of California. She holds a Master in Corporate Communication from the University of Barcelona, Spain.
